How to Compress a 30GB Video File for DVD Architect?

I am using DVD Architect to burn my DVD, that I made in Sony Vegas, a 2 Hour 24 Minute, 30GB Video File. I have decided to use a 8.5GB Disc and it's using 122% of the space.



I tried Optimizing DVD but beyond trying to click Fit To DVD no luck, is it possible to compress with bitrate settings changed?



Can someone please help me compress this file so I can burn this, this DVD is for a local Motorbike Rally and I need to get it done ASAP!

using your current program make an ISO (image file) of your project, then use DVD Shrink to make it fit your disc. DVD Shrink wants to use Nero to burn the DVD, but your existing program works as well (or DVD Decrypter is what I use to burn ISO)

Is this a High Def video? if so, then I'm afraid you can't really compress it that much and keep the HD resolution. If it is standard DVD resolution, then 30 Gigs is insanely huge, how on earth did DVD Architect make it that large? Are you tweaking the settings manually? I don't have DVD Architect, but I'm sure there must be some kind of wizard or automatic setting that can get this down to a manageable size.
